- Working Principle:Similar to a single-stage pump, it uses a rotating impeller inside a casing filled with a sealing liquid (usually water). The liquid forms a “ring” against the casing by centrifugal force, creating a series of compression chambers with the impeller blades.
- Two Stages:In a two-stage pump, the gas is compressed in the first stage and then further compressed in the second stage before being discharged. This two-stage compression allows for a deeper vacuum to be achieved.
